    Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is seeking individuals interested in becoming a full time Deputy Sheriff or Telecommunicator. 

     Candidates must be a citizen of the United States. All applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent. All applicants must be able to sucessfully complete a physical test, written test, oral interview, psychological assessment and drug test. No applicant may have a felony criminal history.Deputy Sheriff Applicants must pass a physical "POWER" fitness test. Deputy Sheriff applicants must be 21 years of age at the time the application is received. Deputy Sheriff's must reside in Montgomery County by end of probationary period.

Additional attention will be given to current Law Enforcement Officers, Telecommunicators, military veterans, and higher education degrees.

All interested individuals must obtain an application from the MCSO in Hillsboro or www.montgomeryco.com/index.php/montgomery-county-sheriff-s. The application must be completed and brought to a mandatory orientation meeting. Two meetings will be held at the Montgomery County Historic Courthouse on the 2nd floor in the County Board room on Tuesday, March 17, 2020. You must attend one of the meetings at 10:00 a.m. or at 5:00 p.m. for both positions. All applicants will receive additional information regarding the position and upcoming dates and times for testing.
